Hey y’all, here’s a little update on what I’ve been doing lately. I’m in real crunch time for this book, so mostly I’m just sitting at a very messy desk, pretty regularly moving piles around so that I can find the thing I need. Also, my back hurts. I threw my back out getting up from my desk the other day??? That shouldn’t happen, right? (Please don’t give me any tips on core strength or anything like that. I can’t manage to organize the piles of paperwork and snacks on my desk, I’m not about to start thinking about my ab strength).
I’m used to this period of time to feel like absolute hell. And the truth is, besides the back thing, it really doesn’t. And that’s been surprising to me.
