A Semi-Regular Update: We Went To Rome!

Hello Friends! Here is a little travel blog post from my recent trip to Rome! These little updates are a thank-you for being a paid subscriber and supporter of my work. Okay, so, last time we talked, I was preparing to fly to Rome for the Italian launch of So You Want To Talk About Race. I am very afraid of flying in general and especially of flying overseas, which really sucks because I love exploring new places, and travel is a big part of my job.

I had been working with my therapist for a few weeks to prepare for this flight and I also started a new anxiety med a few weeks before that (if you want to hear more about this in a separate post, let me know in the comments). And y’all, I’m so happy to report some real success here.
